We bring artists and community together. Creativity needs company.
About
Windhorse is a platform that encourages artists to work together, collaborate, and share bits of their process with the community through workshops and small events.
Windhorse Studio was founded by Barbara Birdsong and Laura Bell Cooley but consists of many artists all working together to create with and for their local community. Born from a need for an art community in central Alabama, and the realization that sharing in a creative process can spur more creative work, Windhorse Studio strives to ‘raise the wind horse’ by propelling a collective encouragement, experimentation, and creative boldness.
Why is Windhorse Studio Special?
Windhorse Studio partners with various local community partners to connect artists with spaces, and community with creativity. Are you a small business who would be interested in hosting events? Are you an artists who would be interested in sharing your knowledge through a workshop? Windhorse Studio strives to connect the two.
